Drink Date: 2025 - 2050 The 2023 Nonnenberg is deep, clear, intense and remarkably fine on the nose that develops fully ripe and elegant fruit spiced with slate plates, herbal nuances and a certain lemony salinity. Seriously complex! This is fine and elegant on the first palate and then immediately dramatic and storming toward the finish that is pure, saline and savory and in the context of the vintage chez Breuer, which is pretty unique in style because it doesn't show any hints of super ripeness, power or textural elements, just the purity of the Nonnenberg terroir. This Riesling is intense and fleshy on the elegant mid-palate yet remains pure, tight and fresh on the finish and is rather straight and coolish in style.
