Karaktär

Klassisk doft för Brunello med inslag av körsbär, jordgubbar, viol, läder, tobak, örter och fat. Smaken är fyllig och kraftfull med hög, välbalanserad syra och silkeslena tanniner. Lång harmonisk eftersmak med en fin mineralitet. Ett enastående exempel av Brunello di Montalcino.

Tillverkning

Musten fick jäsa i ståltank med 14-21 dagars skalmaceration. Vinet har lagrats 24 månader i slavonska ekfat av äldre typ och avslutningsvis ytterligare 4 månader i flaska.

Lagring

Vinet kan under gynnsamma förhållanden lagras 20 år eller mer.

Passar till

Serveras vid 16-20°C till smakrika rätter av lamm, nöt eller vilt.

Drink Date: 2025 - 2040 Opening to earthy tones of brimstone and petrichor, the Altesino 2020 Brunello di Montalcino shows the character of a house style that is easily recognized. This elegant wine offers a polished and smooth mouthfeel with finely tuned tannins. The oak is also expertly managed to show some light spice that is deeply integrated into a silky mouthfeel. Of the village Brunellos I tasted from 2020, this one offers excellent quality and will prove easily to locate thanks to its ample release of 110,000 bottles.

Mid ruby with orange tinges. Deep alluring nose of cherry with just a suggestion of oak and blood orange. Supple cherry fruit with sandpapery tannins. Attractive but lacks a little of that Brunello zing. Drink date 2025-2032

This is supple and juicy, bursting with cherry, strawberry, mineral and wild herb flavors. Vibrant and backed by dense, refined tannins that leave a firm grip on the lingering aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2043.
